So here we are coming up on six months without dad. Our parents 37th wedding anniversery came and went. My sister and I got her 37 different colored roses. That was something that dad asked Kelli to make sure and do - give mom flowers. He was always so good at it. Mom loved them. My little boy, Aiden has his 4th birthday in Feb. Sad to see it come and go without my dad but I know he is watching all of us from somewhere up there, along with all the others who we've lost. I had a dream about dad - the one and only since he died. He had come back and told me he was back just long enough to go on one last vacation with mom before he had to go back. I told mom about it - she sighed and said "wouldn't that be nice". I know she really misses him. Her first real test of being alone is here - Taxes. I just told her "that's why you pay someone". Just gather the items - which in itself is hard - I wouldn't know what to grab either. Thankfully her sister Blair is a big help to her on that stuff. Well I miss you dad as all of us do.
