The new year has started and I've experienced a few things that remind me that my father is around me. I had mom and kelli and family over for x-mas and a coopers hawk came and landed on the fence two days in a row. I had never seen a hawk around my house. I believe that dad, sent it as a sign, knowing that I asked him for one and since I love animals - I take that as a sign that he comes and watches over my home. Another thing that happened - one day I was sitting alone in my home, watching TV, and all of a sudden I smelled my dad's cologne. It was nothing like what my husband ever wears - this WAS DAD's cologne! I smelled it for about a minute and then it was gone. All I could do was smile and think - "Oh dad, you are around me and still care about me". It was awesome. Thanks for the signs dad.
