You Dad was very proud of his adventures and accomplishments in the service to his country. He learned a lot and grew up fast. Our goal in CIC was to be able to correct the Captain or the Officer of the Deck when they were wrong. Our efforts paid off on numerous occasions. We worked hard, but it was well worth it. We also played hard, too. We had some great football games. I think of your Dad often and always will. He was my dear friend and I loved him as a brother. John Strohaker
